The UltraAir laser terminal was developed through ESA’s programme for Optical and Quantum Communications – ScyLight – which supports research, development and evolution of optical and quantum communication. ScyLight belongs to ESA’s larger Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) programme.
